Bicycle Technician Engineering Advanced programme
29 weeks duration
- Monday – Friday
The advanced course is a seamless follow on from the foundation programme
This course will allow the student to manufacture a bespoke bicycle frame that the student will get to keep and develop into a fully working and roadworthy bicycle.
During this programme, four more levels of major qualifications will be achieved, advancing the student’s education level.
During this process, you will gain accreditations in Tig welding, Bronze and Silver brazing, sand blasting, lathe turning, hand jig development, and product design.

- Our graduates have a proven pathway to join a Level 7/8 Bachelors of Engineering programme (BEng)with TUS in Limerick.
- Direct entry into second year of the 3 year (Level 7) or 4 year (Level 8) is available to our graduates

Are there any financial supports in place for the students?
- Tuition costs are fully covered by the Education Training Board
- Students currently in receipt of social welfare will not have there payments effected by enrolling in any of our courses
- Students not in receipt of social welfare may be entitled to:

- Accommodation Allowance
